Equicel® Powder

Hemostatic powder in bioabsorbable oxidized and regenerated cellulose, produced through the oxidation of a suitable form of cellulose: pure viscose. This phase is followed by additional processes, aimed at obtaining a pure and high quality form of oxidized and regenerated cellulose.

Equicel® Powder does not require assembly, it must be used dry and applied directly on the site where haemostasis is required. The gusseted packaging allows easy application of the product even in difficult to access sites.

Equicel® Powder is used in plastic surgery, gynecology, general surgery, hepato-biliary surgery, thoracic surgery, skin transplants and treatment of superficial lesions.
