Non-absorbable synthetic suture braided and coated in silicone.

Color

Green (green D&C n.6 C.I. 61565) or undyed.

Standard diameters and needles

EP diameters from 0.7 to 7; USP diameters from 6/0 to 5. The Terylene is assembled with atraumatic needles in AISI 300 or AISI 400 stainless steel, it is also prepared with PTFE pledget to prevent tearing of the heart valves.

Indications

In general surgery, whenever there is the need to suture or ligate tissues that require a non-absorbable suture, in cardiovascular and orthopedic surgery.
