Equitamp® Knitted

Hemostatic gauze in bioabsorbable oxidized and regenerated cellulose, produced through the oxidation of a suitable form of cellulose: pure viscose. This phase is followed by additional processes, aimed at obtaining a pure and high quality form of oxidized and regenerated cellulose.

The Knitted version is 3 times thicker and features an exclusive manufacturing process that offers maximum tear resistance.

Equitamp® Knitted is used for the control of capillary, venous and small arterial haemorrhages, in cases where ligation, or other conventional control methods, are impractical or ineffective. Equitamp® Knitted can be cut out for use in endoscopic procedures.
