Synthetic monofilament suture short term absorption (50 – 60 days).

Color

Undyed.

Sizes and standard needles

EP from 0,5 to 5; USP from 7/0 to 2. Monofast is attached to AISI 300 or 400 stainless atraumatic needles.

Tensile strength

After 5 days from implant ~ 48-55% of the tensile strength remains, after 10 days ~ 25%, after 20 days ~ 2%.

Absorption

Complete within 50-60 days.

Indications

In soft tissues approximation, where a fast absorption of the suture is required.
